*************************************************

Two juvenile Mediterranean Gulls found in the roost this evening by Ian Lewington & Justin Taylor. By an amazing stroke of luck, BOTH birds left the centre of the roost to come and loaf and preen on the pontoons close to the log room. This enabled some pictures to be taken and to discover that one bird was colour-ringed (in the Netherlands/Belgium). The number was close enough to read, which will enable this birds origins to be accurately traced.
